The Board of Education[BOE/Ministry Armor Voices]
consist of all ministry functions that coordinate and institutionalize
the Educational Ministries of the church; including but not limited to: Sunday School, Bible Band Institution, Young People Willing Workers Opportunity and Empowerment.
The Board of Education shall be responsible for an Ongoing Recruitment and Training of Teachers and Students, as it seek ways to enhance its effective
works through Workshops, Seminars, Symposiums and more.
This board provides team leadership for educational ministries, while
assisting the Pastor in providing training as a ministry resource.
Sunday School Department
Sunday School -
The major Teaching Ministry of each local church. Designed for all ages and focuses on various Biblical topics of Spiritual Growth, and serves as a vein for Evangelical Teaching of the Gospel of Salvation forall who willingly attend.
It is offered each Lord's Day morning for all people; reaching persons through Bible Study, to teach Biblical methods of witnessing for Christ as we lead them to a connection with the Body of Christ.
Youth Department
YPWW[Young People Willing Workers] -
Offered for the purpose of perpetuating an equipping ministry of excellency to prepare youth and youthful for worldwide ministry.
A vibrant unit that equip youth with the necessary training to live a prosperous and victorious life in Christ Jesus. This is a charismatic ministry group that develop opportunities to meet spiritual needs of youth in our church. Rallying together to effectively teach youth and youthful to apply the Word of God in their lives.
Using innovative methods to insure that our youth become valued resources
to their families, church and the community. Seeking to teach the how's of becoming self-sustaining productive citizens, without comprimising Godly principles. Its overall mission is to produce and culture empowered
law-abiding agents of change in our church and society. It is offered each
Tuesday Evening at 6:30 p.m. [most other places each Lord's Day evening].
Bible Band [Bible Institute] -
This ministry unit has a purpose to train believers to know their Bibles that they may become acquainted with the Word of God and help lead others to righteousness.
The principle objective is that Christ be in the hearts of God's creation, His people, and that our testimonies and attitudes will always be Christ honoring. This ministry unit serves to undergird and support all ministry educational operations.
It is continually being developed and tweaked to be a resource to Ministers, Missionaries, Teachers and others. It is an Institute for all Bible Scholars in ministry. Thus, it is only effective when i
has served all Ministry In-Reach and Outreach opportunities.
Home & Foreign Missions [Evangelism Outreach] -
This unit functions to identify field projects within our community to assist or support. It also serves as a support to all ministry operations related to
In-Reach and Out-Reach.
Its endeavors are to help train and prepare Ministers, Missionaries for Field Missions. The unit
serves a dual-function, as an agency dedicated to Home & Foreign Missions and promote Evangelism within our reach.
This ministry objective is to encourage every leader and every worker in every church to be aware of the fact that the mission spirit is the necessary force in upbuilding the Church everywhere. The unit commits itself to win others to Christ, and bring them into the Christian faith, especially those who have not been able to hear and accept the Gospel. Moreover, this ministry unit is perfect as a helpful ministry, effective in aid to meeting needs.
John 17:18 . . . "As thou hast sent me into the world, even so I sent them into the world." This type of activities shows a frayed and frustrated world that there are people who really do care. Thus,
giving a cup of cold water, recovering of sight to the blind, setting at liberty them that are
bruised, and the healing of those who are lost and have no hope.
Finally, the unit has an exchange effect . . . yielding beauty for ashes, entreating other with the oil of joy for mourning, and issuing the garment of praise for the spirit
of heaviness . . . according to Isaiah 61:1
Usher Board(s): Adult & Youth[Evangelism Inreach/Outreach Coalition] -
The group functions and are dedicated to "Order" in the House of the Lord. It is designed and serves to portray the Love that Christ has for all mankind through its gestures of service to visitors and the congregation as a whole. Its ministry, supports In-Reach and Outreach alike.
This group of dedicated servants contribute in significance to every worship and praise opportunites. Individually, they yield themselves to God and deepens their personal commitment to Him. Ushers perform in Divine service,
as they see to the task of keeping an atmosphere of reverence and order.
Music Department
Department of Music -
This ministry group consist of choir members and musicians of this church. Its educational mechanism seek opportunities to train both voices and musicians for music ministry. It is then prepared to render vocal and instrumental music at various service times. Most times inclusive of: Revivals, Special Services, Evangelism Outreach and etc. Its functions under the umbrella operation of Evangelism Outreach Coalition, providing services even during In-Reach opportunities.
There are two component operations within the Department of Music: A). Education and B). Worship, both seeking to fulfill a purpose to Glorify God. This ministry supports during congregational worship and praises wiht a clear inspirational message that is set to music. Its emphasis focuses the listener upon Jesus Christ, while its ministry prepares the heartand minds of gathered parishioners for hearing the Word of God or the Gospel Message.
Its scheduled meeting time is each Wednesday Evening (6:30 - 7:30 p.m.) for Educational Music Training. Its consistent ministry opportunity is every Sunday Morning (11:30 a.m.) for our Worship & Empowerment Experience.
